Description

It's been 5 years since I made the original piece and I'm really quite proud of how far I've come since the age of 15 on my silly little laptop with no tablet...Even if I still do have an unhealthy obsession with girls with ridiculously colourful hair. I hope you all enjoy the new version because this was really great fun to do :) I still have a long way to go so wish me luck!

Double Edit:
Thank you to everyone who has supported me and congratulated me! I won a finalist place!!!!!! Congratulations to all the other winners and as I've heard many of you say; there were many pieces that I would have loved to see win but next time I hope they make it. Taking part was fun enough so I hope people who didn't win a spot this time aren't too upset about and just enjoy getting to know new artists and making the most out of the experience. It's the improvement that counts not the winning after all :]

It seems you went from saturated near hyperrealistic anime to a realistic mood of detailed art I love the change of dress choice it goes from imaginary off the top of the head to what really could be the painting went a city woman like look to an village or old time peasant as you van really see the work in her hand either from hard cooking sweeping or some very hard put work not deinty like those who have moved to more simplified ways of life the hair looks like it's naturally that colour not an unrealstic wig or a colour that went wrong which is amazing for the more realistic aproach you've gone for as most dyed hair end up looking like they don't belong I love how you've chosen a butterfly it really sets a fit mood for this portrait

The eyes went from try hard to very intensely beautiful you can tell you've really figured out how to properly draw eyes which can be really hard to get spot on so even if you were to draw an anime style again I can see it would improve in some places where it appeared flawed.

I would love to see you work on environmental impacted clothing so the clothes would have a soaked or wet sheen
